Babymoon #2 - Cancun

Mike and I were blessed with the opportunity to get away before Baby #2 joins us, as the grandparents took turns watching Blake and we went on a 3 night, 4 day vacation to Cancun.

I was already in the 3rd trimester, but better later than never!

This is the view from our hotel room. our hotel was a huge blessing - a very nice, quiet all-inclusive resort called Le Blanc. The service was fabulous and we never left the resort.

This is the view from the infinity pool that overlooks the ocean.

The water was a perfect turquoise. And here is the baby bump, obstructing the beautiful view!

Big Boy

It feels like Blake has grown up overnight. Only a month ago I was thinking that I was going to have two babies and that I was surprised how much of a "baby" Blake still was/is at 19 months. And now, all of a sudden, he has become a big boy. His language is exploding, he is happy to walk on his own instead of being in the stroller or being held, and he is just doing countless new things daily. 

I have lots of posting to catch up on, but I just wanted to show these two shots of my "big boy" at dinner the other night. Mike took us out for Mother's Day and here is Blake sitting in a booster seat (first time; so far he has only been in a high chair) in a booth next to Dada. He is drinking his drink out of a straw (also the first time; usually we pour it into his sippy cup) and just generally looking like a very big boy!

Oh, my, I love him. Big Boy, you bring us so much joy, you are so much fun, and we love watching you learn and grow! I thank God that I get to be your Mommy!
