In Aruba we spent most of our time hanging out on the western coast on "Palm Beach" where all the resorts are. This is the view from the Marriott resort pool.
We took a 4 hour catamaran/snorkeling cruise, and met some new friends who we ended up hanging out with the rest of the afternoon.
The cruise took us to two snorkeling locations; one was a sunken German freighter, the other was a large coral bed. Our captain was from Belgium; Aruba is a Dutch colony and one of the 3 languages is Dutch (along with english and a local dialect much like spanish).

Here we are hanging out at the Radisson resort, where we watched the sunset. Mike is wearing a t-shirt that says "I [heart] Aruba" which was included in our catamaran tour.
