Dominica (pronounced "do-min-EEK-ah") is a poor island covered in rainforest. The only thing to do here was to take a tour, so that is what we did!
Our tour guide, Rosalind, pointed out all sorts of plants and animals as we drove around the island.

We stopped at "Mr. Nice's Fruit Stand." Mr. Nice is the gentleman with his hat on backward. His business is giving free samples of the local fruit, including pinepple, bananas, coconut, bread fruit, sugar cane, grapefruit, coco, and tangerine. All he asks for is a tip! We enjoyed exploring this delicious island first-hand!

Another popular tourist site is "Emerald Falls." It is a 15 minute hike into the rainforest. Shortly after we saw the falls the heavens opened up to a complete downpour! But what else should we expect in a rainforest?
